Yvette Hernandez Biography 2016

Yvette Hernandez was born May 5th, 1969 in Meadow Brooks, New York to Dominican parents, Eulalia Coste De La Rosa and Rafael Hernandez.  She lived in New York until she was 6 years old, then her family moved to Rhode Island.  Her parents divorced when she was 8, henced her mother moIMG_20160701_065457ved the family to the Dominican Republic. While residing in the DR, Yvette  learned to speak, read and write in Spanish and participated in her very first pageant, Little Ms. Dominican Republic. After 2 yrs, her Mother moved back to RI where Yvette studied and mastered her love of the arts (Singing,  Dancing,  Acting and Modeling).  At the age of 12, Yvette started dance, jazz, tap and ballet classes.  In addition to dance, Yvette performed follies and sang in her high school choir where she made “All State”,  a very prestigious title for musicians and singers.  At the age of 14, she started Modeling for Barbizon in RI.  Yvette has experience with runway, tv commercials, print work and theater.  She traveled often and worked with well known modeling agencies in Boston, Rhode Island,  New York, Connecticut, Miami, Kansas, Dominican Republic,  Equador and Puerto Rico.   By the time she was 18, she had participated in several pageants and acquired the following titles: Ms. Petite RI 87, Ms. Mendez 87, Ms. Dominican Republican of RI 88, Ms. RI Univision 89, Ms. RI Latina 90,  Ms. August for the Women of Rhode Island 1990 Calendar, and Ms. Rhode Island USA 1992.  At the age of 22 she got involved with the Trinity Arts Center of RI, where  she participated in two musicals, West Side Story and Fiddler On The Roof.  On the list of accomplishments Yvette has been a spokes model for many events, she’s conducted and recorded voice overs and jingles for Poder 1110 a local Spanish radio station in RI, she was a co-host for QVC en Español in Puerto Rico, as well as stared in two Commercials for local businesses in RI. In the mist of her busy schedule, Yvette started teaching children dance and modeling.  She worked  for the Providence Housing Authority, Manton Heights, and Codding Court locations, as well as the YMCA after school program in the City of Providence.  In 1994, Yvette married and put her entire entertainment career on hold however, continued working with kids (fostering and teaching modeling/dance).  In 2006, she relocated to Georgia with her family.  By December 2015 Yvette decided to re-invent herself by delving into a Radio and Television career. She took a course with the Atlanta Broadcasting Institute of Georgia.  She recently completed a 12 weeks of intership with 680 the Fan a local Atlanta Georgia radio station.  Currently Yvette has been very active in the entertainment industry.  She has resumed her career in modeling, casting for commercials and performing in several fashion shows in the City of Atlanta.  She was casted for a sitcom were she landed the lead role as Liz Mendez a business owner which is still a pilot pending review.  Most recently, Yvette was booked to work for the Pitch Black Fashion Show July 31st 2016.  With her experience and charisma Yvette is looking to make it big.  A star is about to be born, so be ready to see Yvette Hernandez as your next big celebrity.
