Jamela Franklin, Ed.M, M.A.
Is an accomplished holistic psychotherapist, Certified Aromatherapist and Teacher, Certified Reiki Master and Teacher, Certified Metaphysician and Teacher, Reflexologist, Energy Transformation Practitioner, Holistic Life Coach, Radio Talk Show Host, college professor, and published author. Professor Franklin brings a wealth of experience and training to her current private practice in holistic health. Having completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University, she later completed a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Harvard University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University.
After working in various positions in the field of education for over l5 years, Ms. Franklin realized that her career interests were changing. She decided to pursue a practice in holistic health. Her current practice in Atlanta, Georgia, combines her traditional educational background with her holistic training and/or research in psychotherapy, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Metaphysics, Reflexology, Empowerment, Energy Transformation, Quantum Physics, and Stress Management.
Ms. Franklin, also, is the author of I’m Not Crazy-Just Menopausal, a wonderful empowerment book on menopause from an African American female perspective. After reading this book, the reader will understand the premenopausal/menopausal symptoms and discover holistic remedies for the symptoms. It is a humorous collection of poems, affirmations, facts, and insights. The 10 year anniversary edition will be available in 2017.
