Saint Even aka Slate : FEATURE ARTIST

Saint Even aka Slate is a Brooklyn, New York born and raised 18 yr. old Artist, who

transitioned to Atlanta almost 5 years ago. He has performed throughout the Metro

Atlanta area for the past almost 4 years at various events, churches, schools, and emerged

as a leader within the community by sharing his love, passion, and gift of music in a

positive way. He brings the heat to the stage with his awesome energy and passionate

performances. He has worked with various organizations to support the community work of domestic violence,

teen dating violence, anti-bullying, homelessness, sickle cell anemia, childhood cancer, and other critical issues.

This artist, rapper, songwriter, host and visionary has been on his grind. After an amazing year of live

performances/hosting, press/media tv/radio/blog interviews and honors/awards, Saint released his New

Saint Even - Artist PicMini-Project, “I’m Sorry, Soon…” on Christmas Day 2015. He is also presently about to release his upcoming

EP “Off Adrift”. His first Mix Tape, NeVerMore was released in June 2014 for his 16th Birthday Party, where

he also debuted the first Official Music Video for his Single, Raven Speak. He has challenged and addressed

difficult topics and social ills in his music, which is socially conscious and thought provoking. He uses his

music to tell a story and paint a vivid picture on the canvas of life; to let others know that no matter what

difficulties they may be facing, they can say, like The Raven, NEVERMORE!!

To add to his accomplishments, Saint presented his first Live Showcase “The Even Experience” on April 30th

at the Karma Bistro ATL, where he performed a Dynamic 10 Song Set. He also announced his artist name

change to Saint Even. He has Co-hosted for the past 3 years at Healing Pain Through The Arts – Open Mic

Night held Annually in March to honor Teen Dating Violence Awareness. He was named Atlanta’s Got Talent

FINALE “Facebook Viewer’s Choice Award Winner”, and was honored at the Georgia State Capitol with a

2015 “Young B.O.S.S. Award” with Instinct Radio’s Living Like A Boss Men’s Show in August. He

performed as the Teen Artist for Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) 2015 Teen Summit, was

interviewed by WSB TV Channel 2; People 2 People Show, and PFN TV for 3 Interview Segments to promote

his participation. Saint is the recipient of the 2015 Music Achievement Best Young Artist “Shining Star” Award

as well as the 2014 First Place Winner of the International Talent Elite Entreprise First Annual Talent and

Fashion Show. He is also one of the first recipients of the Healing Pain Through The Arts “2014 Teen

Spotlight Award”. He performed for the Dekalb County CEO, Lee May at the 2013 Family Fun Day at the

Bransby YMCA. Saint has been interviewed on various blog talk radio shows, web series, magazines and has

been a featured guest on WATC TV-57 Atlanta Live and WAIN-TV Speaking of the Tongue Show. Saint was

also a proud panelist on the Dekalb County & Office of Youth Services along with V-103 for their 2014 Teen

Summit on Teen Violence & Social Media.

Saint, whose birthname is Emmanuel Lyons is a recent Graduate and Alum of Dekalb Early College Academy

(DECA). After being Accepted to 6 Colleges in NY, GA, TN & FL with several Scholarship Offers, he has

chosen to attend Kennesaw State University. He will start in Fall 2016 as a Sophomore due to his Move On

When Ready Program (Dual Enrollment) with Georgia State Perimeter College (formerly GPC). GPC featured

Saint in a Top Story Article on their Newswroom Site to promote his PADV Event in March 2015. He served

two years as president of the Young Men to Knights (YMK) Community Service Organization at DECA, with a

previous term of vice president, as well as being a Peer Mentor. He is an active member of the Youth Ministry

at his church, Spirit And Truth Worship Center in Loganville, Ga, under the leadership of

Sr. Pastor Curt Buckmire. Saint’s goal for the remainder of 2016 is to continue to globally expand his Brand,
